ProfileMy thirty years of experience includes many high-profile public transport infrastructure projects in London, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. This includes over 20 years in the rail industry and seven Greenfield and Brownfield rail and light rail projects.My passion is to define and deliver the best operational passenger experience across the whole customer journey from pre-trip to final onward destination. This includes; stations, catchment areas and interchange design, concept of operations, fleet design, branding, marketing & communications to increase patronage, public art in infrastructure programmes to meet the needs of different passenger groups. Formerly with Transport for London, Simon's Australian projects included Canberra and Parramatta Light Rail, rail franchise in NZ, next generation rolling stock design and operational readiness projects in Victoria. All with an emphasis on delivering the optimal customer experience for the client' requirements incorporating human focused design methodologies.Vast knowledge across the full marketing lifecycle including internal communications, product marketing, budget management, continuous improvement, marketing integration, research management, strategy development, brand management, digital marketing and stakeholder management.
