I am a Barristers Clerk at Octagon Legal in Norwich. I manage a team of Barristers who practice in Criminal Law.

As a paralegal at Birketts LLP, I was involved in fee earning work for The Corpoate Criminal Defence Team. This highly experienced department were involved in providing advice and advocacy across a range of areas including:- regulatory - health and safety- road transport - road traffic- environmental - trading standards - food law- fraud and monetary crime- coroner's inquestsI was also responsible as an administrator to the Corporate Criminal Defence fee earners and team leader.

As a legal clerk at Belmores Ltd, I contributed for nearly 12 years to this small, local practice which specialised in general criminal law matters. I performed various roles within the firm including latterly the management of a Crown Court department.

Business Development Manager was one of my role's at Virgin Money (then named Virgin Direct). I led a team writing and delivering training courses to new inductees to a company that was experiencing a rapid and large period of expansion. This was a contribution to subsequent National awards for the firm rewarding excellent customer service standards. Whilst at Virgin, I also occupied positions as a telephone operative and team manager in a call centre based environment.
