We provide support to people struggling with insecure housing, parenting, health or financial pressures who are living on the Peninsula. We offer a range of services including, advocacy, financial support, food , community meals programs, and community hubs that aim to empower participants to take control over their circumstances and become valued , independent but connected carers of each other and our communities where we live.

Worked with other key staff to streamline housing management, across the 23 amalgamated UnitingCare services that became one as Uniting (Vic-Tas) in July 2017 . Continued to manage a portfolio of 260+ units of Retirement village ILU's & Social Housing properties from South Melbourne to Healesville to Wandin to Moorabbin. Overseeing a quality team to deliver highly effective and individual services in resident/tenancy management and property maintenance to all client groups.

Wantirna South

Managing a portfolio of 260+ units of Disability, Youth,, Family, Crisis AOF, Retirement villages & NRAS Social Housing from South Melbourne to Healesville to Wandin to Moorabbin. Built a quality team to deliver highly effective and individual services in resident/tenancy management and property maintenance to all client groups. Redesigned the policies and procedures associated with our 9 Retirement Villages, so they remain relevant in a rapidly changing market place. Implemented a maintenance upgrade plan to refresh all villages. Developed systems to operate social housing at a break even financial position and turned around deficits into surpluses in retirement village operations.

Dandenong

Managed a dedicated staff team to deliver a Crisis Housing Service covering the extensive areas of Casey, Cardinia & Greater Dandenong LGA's. Worked with DHS,to locate a site, design & build a 30 bed Crisis Accommodation Facility for men, women & families. Recruit and develop a 24 hour staff team. Integrate the new facility into the local homeless service system. Establish policies & procedures to ensure high quality,safe and effective service delivery to assist clients resolve their housing and support issues.

Moorabbin

Established one of the 15 newly funded Transitional Housing Service's across Victoria. Build a staff team to deliver quality, housing information & referral to residents in the Kingston, Glen Iris & Bayside LGA's. Build a Tenancy team to establish and manage all landlord operations to 300 transitional flats, units & houses in the area. Operate under the Residential Tenancies Act. Partner with over 30 local agencies providing support to our residents.

Dandenong

Helped establish newly funded Crisis Housing Advice and Support service for residents of Greater Dandenong, Casey & Cardinia. Offered a multicultural staff response to the diverse population of the area. Documented policies & procedures for safe, effective and efficient service delivery in a new & high needs multicultural setting.

Elsternwick

Worked with senior management on the $20 mill redevelopment of Hanover's existing services associated with the closure of Gordon House, a,300 bed high rise in South Melbourne.Led the design & construction of the Southbank 50 room Crisis accommodation facility, the 15 room St Kilda Women's Crisis facility & purchase of over 100 flats & houses in inner & western suburbs that became Transitional housing.

Helped establish a team to work extended hours to engage with homeless men & women squatting around inner Melbourne. To connect with them & offer assistance into more secure affordable housing. Worked with staff of the 3'major night shelters to develop better practices to reduce the frequency of barring clients with challenging behaviors.
