  Throughout my employment with K-Tec Automation I have gradually worked my way through the company beginning as a Commissioning Engineer, Senior Technical Manager to my current position as Project Director below are just some of the duties which I carry out along with the rest of our Team.• Design, Development, testing and commissioning of PLC control systems.• Fault finding on Electrical Control panels and site wiring.• Attending vendors facility’s to carry out factory acceptance testing that includes• Working with Schneider M340 PLC to verify I/O.• Addressing and configuration of PLC’s, ION meters, Gateway’s, ACB’s, MCCB’s etc.• Testing/configuring of Modbus loops. • Verification of I/O to developed graphical screens. • Verification of energy value meters and breakers.• Preparation of contract documents e.g. method statements and risk assessments.• Carrying out site visits and surveys prior to and during site attendance.• Managing on- site teams & sub-contractors during the commissioning of projects.• Working to site specific specifications.• Submission of technical submittals and RFI’s to allow the progress of site works to continue.• Preparation of site acceptance testing documents (handover documents).• Carrying out Training of completed control systems to the end user engineers ensuring they have full knowledge of the system and any actions to be take should there be an issue.• Completing onsite Maintenance activities to ensure the longevity of the end users system.
