Project Team Leader / Implementation teamLeading teams involved in the whole upgrade of a huge retail Infrastructure.( End Client M&S) Spanning over 5 + years involving the installation and implementing of data cable installation, network hardware through to installation of OS systems and EPOS systems. I am responsible for all systems functioning correctly after high pressure night installations ensuring stores are able trade next day.Duties include:• Installation and testing of Routers ( CISCO) including configuration of assigning IP addresses, hostnames, time & dates etc. Lab environment of OSPF, EIGRP , RIP and static routes.• Installation of switches ( 3COM & CISCO) including configuration of VLANS, VTP & STP. • Installation of Windows 2003 & 2008 server. Making additional changes and amendments including adding user accounts, Printer manager, changing IP addresses changing necessary hardware.• Installation of New operating system rollouts including Windows Vista and XP.• Fault finding on networks.• Installation of racks and equipment including all patching and termination of cabling.• Providing clear engaging and logical training techniques to new engineers.• Overseeing 3rd party companies ensuring work is completed and to a high standard.• Go live support and training for clients.• Surveying the entire network infrastructure on sites prior to work. Surveys included detailed information on data points, cabling and all relevant hardware etc.• Installation and survey of wireless networks.• Co ordination of teams to assure an efficient deployment of desktop and till systems etc.• Liaising with all levels of clients from store managers and staff, 3rd party companies through to high level technical managers. .

Over the course of the 15 years I contracted to RBS Commercial Services, my roles and duties were varied as projects progressed. I initially installed the original 2000 clients with a DOS base factoring program in 1995 and was retained to project manage the rollout of the windows based product from 1997 2003. I was a key member of the team integrating Nat West and RBS clients, visiting RBS regional offices around the country. I was also involved in the development and implementation of new online produces being supplied to over 13000 RBS clients, and answered directly to the RBS board of directors. I was tasked to implement the European rollout Facflow (invoice discounting software) involving training bank employs and support staff in France, Holland and Germany. I was also tasked with the integration of client’s accounts packages into the Bank software.

1989-2006British Aerospace / Volker Stevin offshore (offshore project) I was initially employed to help with the integration and testing of offshore control and instrumentation equipment. When the integrity of the system had been proved I was charged with the installation of the equipment at a military base in Lincolnshire. I worked closely with aircrew and air combat instructors improving the offshore systems. I also became involved in producing offshore maintenance procedures, involving planning and implementing maintenance visits to 6 platforms in the North Sea. In 1994 I developed a new windows based C&I system that was used until the project ended in 2009.• 15 year multi million pound project• Training new staff to interpret monitoring equipment• Configuring “Craycom” multiplexers• Installing and configuring “DeHoop” fibre optic line drivers • Developing and managing C&I remote monitoring software • Planning maintenance of offshore platforms• Leading teams of engineers maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment located on platforms in the North Sea.• Deploying and managing teams of engineers monitoring and controlling the British Aerospace “North Sea Range” from shore base in Lincolnshire.• Responsible for all primary control and instrumentation functionality, as well as onsite facilities management
