My current duties include:- Liaising with Manufacturers and Developers for Product & Software Development- Use of JIRA for improvement and bug tracking/reporting- Training of Product and Software usage, particularly for Biodose Connect- Product Development, Testing and Validation for Medical Device submission(s)- Risk Management- Implementation of new company IT processes- Project Planning and Documentation- Software Support to Biodose customer baseBiodose Connect® is an extension of Biodose® that supports the delivery of medicines with real-time information delivered electronically to carers and clinicians about their patients' adherence to their medication regime. Biodose® consists of a tray, 28 medicine pods and a seal, used to arrange medication in a patient specific format. It is currently used by around 50,000 patients across the UK and Ireland in either a care home or domiciliary care and transforms medication management in these settings. It is the only medication delivery system on the market that accommodates both liquid and solid doses.

As this is a small, family run company, I was expected to learn and be able to fulfill many roles within the company, along with the ability to cover co-workers roles in the event of holiday or sickness. These included:- The maintenance & up-keep of all company IT equipment & network- Processing & printing of customers "Own Label" orders- Liaising with potential and current customers in producing an "Own Label" design through the use of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator- Keeping records of Labeling stock & placing orders for required items- Sourcing new suppliers for labeling, in 2014 this has resulting in massive savings for the company- Keeping company Ingredients, nutritional & barcode information up to date- Sage Accounts Invoicing & basic credit-control- Order taking- Various other miscellaneous tasks, including website up-keep, customer support and product design.
