Employed directly as the Senior Site Manager and the Lead Engineer to oversee, advice and educate my Indian colleagues in the correct procedures in the erection of steel frame buildings, regardless of shape or size. I also have to assist and teach the correct methods of site Management and to produce all documentation to assist in the claims department. Generally this involves all site activities from safety to financial closure of the project. I have currently been involved in 3 projects whilst in India with a 4th imminent. The 1st project was an 8k ton power station consisting of 18 associated buildings. The 2nd project was a 36K ton steel manufacturing plant, consisting of 14 different structures and with over 10 Km of crane rail to align. The 3rd is a 2.2K ton linked to existing live structure. The 4th is a 5K ton new development for Michelin tyres consisting of 10 number structures to this phase with the possibility of 3 more phases at later date. Currently to date my team have received 2 safety awards for Best contractor.

Employed directly as the engineer and secondly as the Site Manager on various sites were I was responsible all duties involving the Plumb, Line and Level in the erection of steel frame structures on projects in Liverpool, St Andrews- Fife, Birmingham, Excel, Elgin, Stratford City, just to mention a few .My duties are typical for an engineer involved in the erection of steel framed multi storied buildings, but from time to time I have been required to take on a senior role due to experience and qualifications.

Employed at Sewell construction working on the largest LIFT scheme to date, £4.6 million, 56 week contract were I self managed for 35 weeks, before taking on a finishing foreman. I took the scheme from the early development stage right through to completion and was responsible for all aspects of this 120-room building. On its completion it was hailed has their flagship and despite its complicated curved roof and 3 dimensional valley gutters. It was also located in the same footprint as a live primary school which also provided Health and safety challenges together with their frequent organised site visits.
