I have more than 35 years experience of Public Sector finance in both public and private sector organisations, including 30 plus years in a Shared Service environment. Beginning my career as an Administrative Assistant with Department of Trade & Industry, latterly The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, I quickly progressed before moving to Liberata plc and later Amey Business Services as a result of Government outsourcing policy. I joined HM Prison Service in 2006 and was part of a team who setup their shared service centre and now with Shared Services Connected Ltd I am currently the Head of Purchase to Pay & Procurement but have fulfilled a variety of leadership and project roles during my career. I have overseen significant changes in technology across finance including Oracle eBS (R10, 11 & 12 and Fusion), Optical Character Recognition, eMarketplace, Workflow Management tools and robotic automation. I am experienced in leading staff and customers through a considerable amount of business and my current role as involves working with Clients and their key stakeholders to ensure processes are holistic, efficient and wherever possible, technology is exploited to drive value for money. I am an accomplished service delivery manager with clear customer focus and possess proven excellent communication and leadership skills.
