Employed by CDS to provide the Military Integrated Logistic Support to a Tri-Nation Defence Project . Undertook a complete end to end process review of the Logistics procedures including recommendations to the Joint Logistics Support Plan. Produced a written report and presented findings to Senior Management team with full recommendations and implementation plan.Reviewed demand processes, equipment stock levels, obsolescence issues, stock-taking procedures, packaging, handling, storage and transportation, communication procedures, training plan and computer catalogue improvements.Liaised with both operational and engineering military staff in addition to various civilian contractors involved within the Project both in the UK and overseas.

Afghanistan

Provided logistical support for 5 Aircraft platforms both fixed wing and rotary in support of UK Special Forces.Responsible for a team of 6 tradesmen in support of Aircraft Operations providing 24/7 cover.Managed the redeployment of all Air Detachment assets prior to the end of Operations.

Unit Fuels Manager responsible for 7 staff providing 24 hour cover for Bulk Fuel and Motor Transport Fuel Installations. Completed Fuel Safety Assurance Assessment prior to inspection by Defence Fuels Group.

Led and supervised a team of 8 Logistics staff, both Service and civilian providing logistical support to Joint Service Support Organisation Digby personnel in direct support of military operations. Appointed Unit Fuels Manager and Pollution Control Officer.Manager of acquisitions bought under the GPC process. Health and Safety representative, undertaking reviews and implementing change.

Cyprus

Trade specialist on all aspects of supply policy within the Project.Co-ordinated all logistics involved in a major system upgrade and subsequent disposal programme.Presented an options paper to senior management on future Logistics support to the Project.

Logistical subject matter expert for Tornado aircraft in support of all front line aircraft squadrons.Heavily involved in the logistical transfer of responsibilities to BAES, working directly with BAES staff.
