Simon received the degree of Bachelor of Business Studies from Dublin City University, a Diploma in Legal Studies and is a European Trademark Attorney, Irish Trade Mark Attorney and UK Trademark Attorney.Simon is a Partner at Tomkins & Co. with over 20 years experience with the firm. He has considerable experience in all aspects of Trademark practice and the protection of brand owners rights, in particular Trademark clearance, pre-filing advice, prosecution and opposition procedures. He manages extensive Trademark portfolios for domestic and multinational clients. Simon has published articles on Trademark law and practice and has guest lectured on this subject in colleges in Ireland and the United States of America. Simon is a the current Vice - President of the Association of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys. He is also a corporate member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA), and a member of ECTA and INTA. He is a member of the INTA Emerging Issues Committee.
