I joined Charter Hall in early 2012 and have been the Fund Manager of Charter Hall’s Core Logistics Partnership (CLP) since inception in early 2013. During that time, we have grown CLP into a high quality $2.7 billion industrial/logistics fund through the acquisition of existing properties alongside our develop-to-core strategy, which has delivered over $1.2 billion of long-leased industrial/logistics property for the partnership. It has been great experience to play a part in the growth Charter Hall’s industrial business from a portfolio of less than $1 billion in 2012 to about $20 billion today. I was the original Fund Manager for Charter Hall’s Long WALE Hardware Partnership (LWHP), established in 2012. LWHP is now the largest owner of Bunnings Warehouse properties in the country with a $2.8 billion portfolio.Charter Hall is one of Australia’s leading Industrial property specialists with 1,516 properties under management across 10.1 million square metres of floorspace in key growth markets. We have a current development pipeline that will deliver in excess of $5.5bn of finished industrial/logistics product. I have over thirty years’ experience in the property industry and have also worked in industrial & commercial real estate agency, as a practising valuer and as jack-of-all-trades with Jones Lang LaSalle, Savills and the Winten Property Group.Outside of work I enjoy struggling with my golf game, attempting to keep a couple of old cars from the 80’s on the road and either freezing on the sidelines of a soccer field or getting sunburned on the boundary of a cricket oval.
