Simon has been the Fund Manager of Core Logistics Partnership (CLP) since March 2013, shortly after its inception in December 2012. During this time, CLP has grown to a Gross Asset Value of circa $1.5bn with 26 quality industrial assets. CLP is a wholesale partnership that invests in long-leased institutional-grade industrial and logistics facilities.Simon has been heavily involved in all property acquisitions made by CLP since March 2013, and in all aspects of running and growing the fund including the USPP $200m capital raising and $350 million of capital recycling through acquisitions and divestments. CLP has delivered strong investor returns for investors 13.1% from inception to Mar 2018. Simon is a member of the Industrial Leadership Group and reports into Sean McMahon, Charter Hall’s CIO and acting Head of Industrial.

Simon’s role was initially to work with the Joint MD, David Harrison, to assist in acquisition origination activity and establish joint ventures and third party investment mandates with local and offshore capital investors.As part of this role, in late 2012, Simon was instrumental in the establishment of the Bunnings Partnership Fund (BP Fund), a private wholesale fund now known as Long WALE Hardware Partnership (LWHP). Simon ran the Fund in 2012/3, in addition to being the Fund Manager for CLP.During the inception of the BP Fund, Simon was responsible for transactions and fund management of the initial $230 million portfolio that seeded the Fund. Simon coordinated the establishment of Fund documents, the debt facility and the subscription of equity from investors. He managed additional Bunnings acquisitions to grow the BP Fund 1 to circa $400 million.
