The Restart Scheme is aimed toward those that have been out of work for 12-18 months and in receipt of Universal Credit. Our Employment Advisers will support participants for up to 365 days starting with a face to face personal diagnostic and SMART action plan that is reviewed and updated during regular meetings. In addition, the participants will have access to training, wellbeing support, online tools and local recruitment knowledge that will help them to realise their transferrable skills, build their confidence in job searches and applications as well as improve their CV writing and interview skills to help them back into sustainable employment.

I have worked with many individuals that have various contra-indications, and have had numreous successes regarding lifestyle improvements, including weight/size loss, improvements in fitness levels and mental wellbeing and reducing cholesterol and CVD risk. These successes have been achieved through 1-1 goal setting and regular supporting contact, either by phone or face to face appointments in addition to regular routine and program changes.

This role involved working with a team of eight to ten people to run a club of up to 1200 members. I developed the team skills on sales and enquiry handling and monitored them regularly so that we worked to the same standard to maximise new member and secondary sales opportunities.With member retention being a major factor, it was important that the team and I, built a good relationship with the club members, to make each visit enjoyable for those that wanted to relax and proactive for those that had personal goals.As well as keeping a high standard of cleanliness for members, I worked with the team to ensure health and safety procedures were followed with regard to employee safety, swimming pool/wetside facility, exercise class and gym usage.
