I have worked in the drilling industry for over Twenty years now, over ten of them in Project Management and since 2017 as a Business Partner and Director, and now working on developing the Business into new and exciting directions. Prior to Project Management I had worked in Procurement, Maintenance, Administration, Field Support, Soil Laboratory and of course as a Driller. My career started as a Drillers Assistant whilst studying Mechatronic Engineering, from a drillers assistant my passion for the drilling industry grew strong and fast. I soon found myself operating various different drilling rigs from our renowned Difficult Access Cross Country rig drilling in basements and alleyways through to our Edson 3000’s, Eze-cat, Hydropower’s and many, many more. Within the drilling industry I have worked in many different fields of drilling and with many different methodologies allowing me to be at the forefront of complex problem solving for a range of clients and industries with very different needs. The variety of area within the industry I have found myself managing project for have been but not limited to; Site Investigation, Geotechnical, Civil, Environmental, Exploration, Resource, Quarries, Water Well, Geothermal Ground Loop, Instrumentation Installation and Monitoring, Dewatering and Grouting.I am fluent in over 40 types of drilling, sampling and testing methodologies and always looking for the next one to prefect.During my time at Terratest I have been lucky enough to be involved with the development of new areas of the business from been one of the first Geoprobe operators to one of the first IGSPHA accredited Geothermal Loop Drillers in Australia. I have found myself time and time again at the forefront of new technologies like Sonic Drilling and new services which Terratest offer like Non-Destructive Drilling, Sonic Drilling, Borehole Imaging (ATV/OTV/ Natural Gamma) or our latest UAV company, Terratest Aero. Every month I find myself with a new, exciting and challenging project to deliver solutions for on-time and budget.
