A brief outline of a typical day are ; while working in the High Security Estate i line manage a team of operational support staff in the gate area of a High Security Prison. Responsibilities include; managing staffing levels, delegating duties, emergency response to general alarms, organising appropriate response to emergency services attending site, liasing with civilians, Police, Judges and Solicitors. I am also responsible for checking biometric scanning entry system, management checks of keys, monitoring searching of vehicles and people. checking of high tech security equipment, ensuring all security auditable procedures are up to standard and ensuring all safe systems of work are adhered to, also managing day to day running of residential unit with up to 75 Cat A prisoners.

I started this company from the ground up, this included all financial aspects of setting up and running a small buisness. i managed recruitment, marketing,corporate identity, design of uniform, creating stationary to successfully obtaining contracts, which included; Close Protection, Surveillance, Security consultantcy, Conference security for federation of master builders, Holiday Parks security patrols, 1 of which i caught the offenders and helped in their arrest.
