Leading a team of 6 responsible for all elements of recreational club cricket across Surrey, delivering a number of the key outcomes in cricket's Inspiring Generations strategy.My team are responsible for supporting the growth of a wide range of clubs across the county, working closely with all clubs to help them create and deliver their own development plans which focus on growing the game at all levels. Members of the team are also responsible for delivering the Surrey Junior Cricket Championship (one of the largest junior competition structures in the country), supporting the senior cricket leagues, growing and developing the network of coaches officials and grounds keepers and overseeing the safeguarding structures within the county.

I lead a team of 5 and work closely with the Director of Cricket Participation to produce and deliver innovative and effective strategies to increase participation across Surrey and South London.The role covers all elements of Clubs and Leagues support, working collaboratively with the network of volunteers across Surrey to deliver increased participation in the recreational game. This includes:• Reforming the junior league structure in Surrey, bringing 8 different leagues together to form the Surrey Junior Cricket Championship which is now operational.• Lead and manage team responsible for the delivery of county wide coach education programme, club affiliation, facility development, junior coaching courses and several strategic groups and associations. • Lead Clubmark and club development programme for Surrey including delivery of bi-annual Club Conference. • Safeguarding lead for the Foundation working with County Welfare Officer to implement policy across Surrey.• Charity wide responsibility for marketing and communications across all Foundation programmes.

Led a high performing team of 17 as well as overseeing a budget of circa £1.3m during the Coronavirus pandemic.Led on the development of the Foundation’s new strategic plan and reviewed the executive structure to ensure the Foundation was resourced effectively to deliver the outcomes of its strategy.Guided the Foundation through the Coronavirus pandemic, reviewing budgets to cut costs, leading the team through the furlough process, and leading on the Foundation response to support the club network. Invited to share best practice with the national network around adoption of technology to enhance communication across the game.

Responsible for the Support Services team at Surrey Cricket Board whose role is to enhance the experience of all those playing the game. Key responsibilities include Compliance, Communication, Clubmark, Club Development and Facilities and Support Services team cover Coach Education, Coach Development, Volunteering, Groundsmen's Association, Officials Association and Junior Coaching Courses.

Responsible for delivering all aspects of Cricket Development. Key successes include developing one of the strongest coach education programmes in the country, developing a successful coach education partnership with South Thames College which generates funding for the Surrey Cricket Board and developing one of the most innovative and forward thinking Coaches Associations in the country. Also responsible for working on a range of projects to develop recreational club cricket in Surrey.

Working with the Uganda Cricket Association to deliver CWB visits to Uganda twice a year. The projects are made up of volunteer teams who deliver cricket coaching whilst spreading HIV and AIDS awareness messages. My role is to work with the CEO and lead Development Manager to plan new projects, review past projects and create a future vision for the collaboration between CWB and the UCA.
