I am one of the more experienced handlers in the claims department, having spend time with the Specialist Team, handling Clinical Negligence, Legal Defence and all Foreign Claims. I have also spent six months seconded to the Commercial Contract teams, and in the past 2 months have been earmarked for the intended “New Claims” team and fast-tracked through training on all types of claims, including PI, Employment and Property and Contract. I am a mentor and referral point in my team, training up new team members and helping with complaints and queries, especially in my team leader's absence.
