Played an ambassadorial role: working with the several National Governing Bodies, Local Authorities, NGB sport specific working groups.Overall responsibility for health and safety, facilities management, business development, budgets and people management.Developed the partnership with Avon County Rowing Club and Monkton Coombe School, Duchy of Cornwall to develop and build the Rowing Centre of Excellence at Saltford, nr Bath, for students, local rowers and the wider community.

Working as part of the team that raised £100m in ten years as part of the University's 'Campaign for Resource'. Lead professional fundraiser for all sports and ‘special’ projects. New facilities built with a total value of over £8 million with external funding raised in excess of £3 million.Researched, developed and managed a large database (CRM) of prospective donors, grant funding bodies and friends of the University (from scratch). Arranged face to face meetings with each potential donor, outlining the needs of the University and how they may wish to help, marrying their areas of interest with current and developing University projects. Created a relationship development programme, based on the needs of each individual, setting regular updates on progress made. Established ways to celebrate successful donations, through personalized and project milestone events. Example. Led the project planning, sports development and business planning for the University's Coombe Dingle Sports Complex project. The project brought together the Lawn Tennis Association, Clifton High School, Bristol City Council and University in a £3.3million sports project. Led and successfully applied for £2.2 million from the Sports Lottery Fund- still the largest single award for sports projects in Bristol. The sports development plan includes an outstanding programme of community sports development that sits alongside the University's sports programme. The programme includes provision for a development plan for six sports- tennis, rugby, football, cricket, hockey, lacrosse and athletics. Each element of the University sports programme was developed with each student club committee which included a three year Club Development Plan.Facilities development - a four court indoor tennis centre, artificial hockey pitches, outdoor tennis courts and improved changing facilities/pavilions.
