Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, I was responsible for the management and revamp of the risk and insurance processes of a EUR 1.5bn revenue and 9,500 people group of six operating companies. As part of the Chief Risk Officer (PCF-14) roles of wholly-owned captives of a large multinationalpharmaceutical company I hold, I am responsible (as second line of defense) for advising the Board of Directors on all areas of risk, including mitigation and management of existing risk, identification ofemerging risks, and liaison with the Central Bank of Ireland on risk-related areas.

I was responsible for leading the Aon client experience on a number of accounts, delivering guidance and support to clients that drives optimum captive operation. I worked with clients' Heads of Insurance, Risk Management and Treasury to ensure all insurance and risk management needs are met, in a cost effective manner, acting in a trusted advisor capacity.As part of my role, I was the EMEA Life Science captive Thought Leader. I devised the Life Sciences captive agenda, formulated the EMEA growth strategy, and coordinated local Relationship Leads and resources to ensure consistent delivery and providing the "Best of Aon" to all clients.I also served on the Company’s local Senior Leadership team, driving the domicile’s direction, and strategic goals.
