I then progressed to Product Development & Sales Manager at Metsa Wood, & was a finalist in the Institute of Professional Sales National Competition for Sales Leader of the Year. This award, covering all industrial & commercial sectors, identified outstanding achievement in a senior Sales Management role.My skillset was further enhanced as Sales & Marketing Manager at BSW Timber Group where, in one project, I assisted in negotiating the sales of SIPs timber frame housing to a prestigious housing developer culminating in a significant development of quality housing for both the Public & Private Sector valued in excess of £20m. To broaden my areas of expertise, I joined a Civil Engineering contractor, Knights Brown Construction (formerly Raymond Brown Construction), as BDM where I increased the key client list 5-fold leading to an excellent pipeline of work opportunities. New client contracts included infrastructure works with a new key housing developer to the value of £13m. Recognition for a key regeneration project was gained with the award, presented in in the Houses of Parliament, of the ICE Kent & East Sussex 2011 Engineering Excellence Prize and The Green Apple 2011 Environment Gold Certificate. I have adapted my BDM skillset to win business in new sectors for Livis including Civil Engineering & Fit-Outs works for Rail & Utility, DNOs, Power & Technology Companies which now represents over 60% of turnover & over 70% of profit.
