About Simon L
I had previously been in Law enforcement for 19 years, specialising in Maritime investigation & Marine training, for the latter 16 years, I became a Certified Marine Investigator in Europe.I have extensive experience at planning and arranging marine training conferences on an international level in various different European countries which regularly required involvement from Senior Law enforcement and Service officers.I am an instructor in Maritime training both Class and practical based both ashore and afloat.I also work in the Behavioural detection field of training to assist in the prevention and detection of Crime & Terrorism.I was a trainer for a 3 day public protection course training the 14 strands of Public Protection to about 1000 Police officers and staff.I qualified and received my AET in C&G for the award in education and training level 3.since that time I received my assessors qualification and I am about to finish my Level 5 DETS teaching qualification.Other qualifications are:HSE Licenced Commercial DiverPADI & CMAS Pleasure experienced DiverLevel 2, 3 & Advanced Power boatDay Skipper,Coastal Skipper,PWCRYA Powerboat & PWC InstructorPolice marine investigator.(CMI) certified Marine investigator.Marine Engineer (Paxman diesels & CFI 7 years)Public protection trainer .Owner at Seaxe Investigation & Training consultants.Aside from running a successful private investigation business I have been head of department Marine Engineering for the South Essex College for the past 4 years where I have successfully built, designed, resourced and run a Level 3 apprenticeship Maritime Defence Marine Engineering course and a Level 2 Marine Engineering course for which I am lead lecturer and on site assessor.My routes as a Marine Engineers started at the age of 16 where I became apprentice of the year 3 years out of 4 for Paxman diesels, I took these skills forward throughout my career in training.

Since that time I have enrolled around 40 Apprentices.Moving forward Ive built and solely run a Level 2 Marine Engineering course for school leavers and Europe's first 'hands on' Hybrid/Electric course.
