In July 2013 I had the opportunity to take on the remnants of a small company that provided pub quizzes to venues around London. When I took charge, the company had three clients and two quiz hosts on it's books. We now regularly provide quizzes to over 15 venues around London, as well as hosting corporate quiz nights for companies and organisations such as BNP Paribas and St James' Place.It took several years to grow to a point where Treehouse Quizzes was able to become my sole source of income, but we achieved that goal in 2018. It has become one of the main quiz companies in London, with our main clients including Antic pubs, Yummy pubs and The East London Pub Co.

After several years fundraising, I was promoted to Assistant Fundraising Manager. My role involved supporting the fundraising managers in the running of their teams, managing shifts, quality-checking calls and coaching fundraisers.After a few months, I was asked to help train new fundraisers at the company's new Brixton site. There was a large influx of new employees that needed training to the high standard expected.Once the site was up-and-running, I supported the fundraising managers at the new site and continued assisting the training manager.I left the company in 2013 to pursue building my own company.

In my role as a fundraiser, I raised money for many charities, including Action for Children, WWF, The British Red Cross, The British Heart Foundation, NSPCC and St John Ambulance. I consistently met my targets and would often be asked on my opinion as to how scripts could be improved.

Hampstead People is one of the many websites run by thelocalpeople.co.uk. I am the Community Publisher for the Hampstead site and my work involves writing local news stories, ensuring the site has a presence online through Twitter and Facebook, and building up relationships with people and companies who will potentially use the site, both online and in person.

At worked as an intern for three months for Spoonfed.co.uk on the DJ Desk. My role involved being assigned venues and ensuring that their events were up to date, either through their websites or by contacting the venues directly.

My role as a runner, I would set-up meeting rooms, ensure that the client’s needs were met and help with administration and maintaining the meeting rooms. In addition to this I wrote procedures and covered reception.
