I am lucky to be running an exciting company, with a great team, in a sector that I care about: recycling. We recycle virgin wool-rich carpet offcuts (that used to go to landfill) and fast fashion clothing that the charity shops don't want. Then we make a range of products on the same site:- Growmats for growing cress and other herbs- Anglo Recycling - closed-loop recycling to make carpet underlay- Anglo Technical Textiles - orders for up to 5 million components on our auto machinesFor example, we take carpet offcuts from John Lewis and supply it back to them as felt underlay. Growing media is a rapidly expanding part of our business. A recent order was for one million units, supplied to a customer growing microgreens indoors in the Middle East. The world is changing in front of our eyes and Anglo is constantly innovating to stay in the lead.Founded in 1939, Anglo remains a family company.
