Anglo Technical Textiles is an ethical, family-run, specialist textile company based in Rochdale, Lancashire, and part of the Anglo Family (which includes Colourful Craft Felts, GrowFelt and Anglo Recycling Technology).
We are experts in felts for any use, whether industrial, agricultural or domestic and can help you find the right solution for your needs, even if we don’t stock it ourselves ourselves. Our site covers 138,000 square feet and so we have a huge stock and the equipment to cut, sew and finish whatever you need efficiently and quickly.
We supply textiles for everything from saddle-making to engineering, machinery to design (including textile, interior and shop displays), and specialise in industrial felt, flame retardant textiles, and filter media, and are the European stockists and distributors for Izumi Filter Media. We supply MOD felts, embroidery felts, polishing felts, packaging felts, brake felts for steel slitting lines, felts for furnishings and mattresses. If there’s something you need, just ask!
CUTTING AND FINISHING SERVICES
As well as offering material "on the roll", we offer cutting and slitting to size for sheets and strips and machine cutting to shape. If we don't have a tool to suit from the several hundred we already have for washers, gaskets and cut parts we can get one made for as little as £25.

We are frequently asked to match a product to an existing sample, CAD drawing, technical specification or even a photograph. BACKGROUND AND VALUES
The company was founded in 1939 and the current owners took over in 1988. Many of our valued and experienced employees, including the MD, have been with us for 20 years. Our company is founded on Christian values and our charter states: "in working with our customers, staff and suppliers we will endeavour to tell the truth at all times". We even have a company chaplain, and aim to be a community that supports each other. We have a social enterprise that gives back to our local community, and have set up a textile recycling plant that can recycle carpet off-cuts and turn into growing media for agricultural and urban farming use.
