Simon has more than 17 years of experience as a professional economist advising on a broad range of competition, regulation and public policy issues. Simon has a particular expertise in TMT.As a consultant Simon has advised both private and public sector organisations in the UK and Europe on matters related to economic regulation, competition policy, economic modelling and public policy in the TMT, transport, postal, gambling and healthcare sectors amongst others.While at Ofcom (the UK communications regulator) Simon was involved in Competition Act investigations and dispute resolution/litigation, as well as a range of projects related to regulatory policy, charge control design and implementation, spectrum management policy, and regulatory strategy. Simon supported Ofcom's defence of regulatory decisions in front of the UK Competition Appeals Tribunal and the UK Court of Appeal.
