THERE IS LIFE IN THE OLD DOG...!! After some challenges on the health front and domestic upheaval. I'm now fully focused on the main part of my job which is writing and maintaining policy terms & conditions. This job runs right through the organisation from input to product design and project infrastructure, documentation and client communications, through to signed off product Terms & Conditions. The job involves interaction with virtually all areas of the Company and the depth of knowledge required to do it properly also means that the job holder becomes curator of the Company archives on policy conditions, maintaining a good knowledge of products issued over the years and the market in general including competitors and fiscal and legislative conditions. As mentioned earlier I have experienced substantial change in my life over the last months, some of which is not particularly welcome. With 8 years to go until the traditional retirement age I feel that I still have a lot to offer in the international life assurance industry and I'm determined to make the most of it. My career began as a member of the Accellerated Development Programme with the Save & Prosper Group based in the City. This was a prestigious position and I was extremely lucky to be involved with the everyday work of the top management and Board of the UK's top funds Group. Subsequent jobs have involved managerial and senior management roles in sales support, marketing, Technical Services, Compliance/AML, Business Development and Technical. I am happy in my job but now is the time to consider whether there are more opportunities for me. I am looking for opportunities to make full use of my huge level of experience and whilst the Isle of Man will always be my home I would be very excited at the prospect of the right challenge and I would be happy to consider virtually any location.
