Sourcing of Seasonal, Gifts, Toys, Outdoor and Bathroom department.Monitor the production and shipments of the above 5 department. Make sure all shipments will be shipped on time to catch the sale launch in UK in Matalan stores.Supervise the daily work of the Merchandisers, provide neccessory help to Merchandisers so that they can grow up and be more mature and skillful on daily work.

Responsible for the sourcing and order follow up for Matalan - Retailer which has over 200 stores in UK.

- Source new suppliers and new products through internet, Canton Fair and all the other shows.- Negotiate with suppliers to get best prices and work out cost sheet for customer. Make sure the price is reasonable and match customer’s required product specification.- Monitor samples status, discuss the defect and improve method with QA team, and then solve problem with vendors. Make sure samples can match customer’s requirement and can be sent to customer on time.- Check the test requirement with outside lab (SGS, ITS etc.), then arrange samples according to the test standard for lab testing. If test failed, discussed with vendor for solution without any cost up, if test is pass, send the report for customer ref.- Order follow up. Check the production status with FTY, book the inspection with the QC team, to ensure the goods can be shipped on time. Look after the critical shipments and claims with the suppliers and solve the problem in a quick time
