The McGill Model United Nations Assembly is an annual student-run initiative that has been held in Montreal, Quebec since 1989. McMUN is the largest and most prestigious university-level conference in Canada and ranks among the top academic events at McGill University. Its reputation has transcended borders and McMUN has become one of the most highly anticipated and competitive conferences on the international collegiate Model United Nations circuit. Our previous keynote speakers include Roméo Dallaire, former force commander of UNAMIR, Louise Fréchette, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, and Badiya al Hassan, The Princess of Jordan. Responsibilities Include:- Overseeing the research and drafting of committee Background Guides- Organizing and Conducting training for Committee Staffers- Assisting the Secretariat in the general organization of the conference

- Provided community members with information about their legal issues- Researched issues of professional liability, civil procedure, employment law, and municipal law

- Co-directed Remembrance day event with a varied program; combined educational, recreational, leadership, and discussion programs.- Helped to build a positive group dynamic for campers and staff members alike- Communicated with parents regarding camper issues/updates- Provided staff with regular informal evaluations and two formal evaluations
