Creating the format and Producing (with Micky MacPherson) Teacup Travels - to be screened on CBeebies early 2015

Currently working with Plum Films in Edinburgh to develop a 25 part live action/ CGI series for CBeebies. Writing a book about why Child Protection policies are doomed to fail - and what you can do and who does it.

I run the inhouse production department making about 12% of the BBC's network children's output.It's a multi-platform operation making web products and games as well as TV shows.Responsible for brand management of all locally created IP.Responsible for strategic planningMember of the BBC Children's boardMember of the editorial board of BBC Scotland.

I made a lot of high profile entertainment and factual shows for children. The biggest buzz was "Live and Kicking" - at the time the BBC's flagship children's entertainment show where we took over the whole BBC1 network for 3 hours every Saturday morning. The one which I liked the most was Raven - an adventure game show wet on location in the Scottish highlands. This show scooped the best entertainment BAFTA twice in five years.

I produced Live and Kicking before going on to exec produce it. I have produced a lot of children's shows in my career but I started off in current affairs. Alongside my work in Children's I ran a small documentary unit making observational documentaries. My proudest moment was winning the Amnesty International Media Award for "The Glasgow Girls"
