NCRS raised as required)• Machine shop Inspection: - Using Faro Arm and general measuring equipment measuring all products manufactured at Roots Systems.• Control of all Metrology items using Avon Dynamic Calibration as external Metrology supplier Controlled on their database and our spreadsheet, this includes sorting gauges for weekly collection, reviewing calibration certificates on receipt to determine suitability for production. Typical items are Pressure / Temperature gauges, Accelerometers, Torque wrenches, Load Cell, Gauge Blocks, Loop Tester, Insulation tester, Sound meter, Tachometer, Paint thickness gauges.• Internal six-monthly calibrations of Micrometers, Calipers, and depth gauges. • Other Duties include, First aider, Fire marshal, Monthly Coolant Inspection.

This is then signed and approved for use by me and added to the updated calibration.• Discrepant Gauge Management – in conjunction with Engineering and Quality representatives to determine potential risk, scope of affected product and agree corrective actions. • Creation of internal CMM training materials for use by the Inspection Dept for drill bit inspections.
