Typical items are Pressure / Temperature gauges, Accelerometers, Torque wrenches, Load Cell, Gauge Blocks, Loop Tester, Insulation tester, Sound meter, Tachometer, Paint thickness gauges.• Internal six-monthly calibrations of Micrometers, Calipers, and depth gauges. • Other Duties include, First aider, Fire marshal, Monthly Coolant Inspection.

Also attending manufacture review meetings to discuss and understand production gauging requirements.• Gauge vendor and calibration service provider approvals and management (including new supplier identification and calibration verification using secondary UKAS accredited lab)• Creation of internal calibration procedures (for local and NOV global use).• Conducting internal gauge calibrations in accordance to required standards utilizing DEA Gamma CMM, Floating carriage Mic, Mic Trac, Surface Table, electronic comparator, Projector, Gauge Blocks, Micrometers, • Where external calibration is carried out, I review the calibration certificate against the order. This is then signed and approved for use by me and added to the updated calibration.• Discrepant Gauge Management – in conjunction with Engineering and Quality representatives to determine potential risk, scope of affected product and agree corrective actions. • Creation of internal CMM training materials for use by the Inspection Dept for drill bit inspections.
