Hi, I’m Simon Philp, a Performance and Wellbeing Coach devoted to empowering individuals and businesses to succeed. With roots in technical problem-solving since 1988, my journey transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding a service-oriented company in the fire and security sector in 2011. My hands-on experiences have equipped me with invaluable insights, both in life and business realms, fostering a balance between success and challenges, growth and adaptation.Educationally, my pursuit of continuous development is evidenced by a robust set of qualifications. Initiated as a Certified Practitioner of NLP in November 2019, I deepened my skills with a Licensed Practitioner of Motivational Maps credential in January 2020 and later, achieved the Certified Master Practitioner of NLP in February 2023. This educational voyage was complemented by an introduction to business mentoring and a Certified Practitioner of Time Line Therapy recognition in 2023. Currently, I’m enthusiastically working towards an ILM – Level 5 Certificate in Effective Coaching and Mentoring and aiming to qualify as a mountain leader in 2024, a testament to my commitment to growth and assisting others on their journey.Professionally, my voyage commenced as a diligent technician, evolving into roles of increasing responsibility and impact within the security industry, ultimately culminating in my establishment of a thriving fire and security firm serving diverse sectors. This venture not only withstood the tests of a recession and a global pandemic but also expanded and innovated, testament to a resilient and visionary leadership style. My engagement with the “Help to Grow” scheme as a volunteer mentor in 2022 marked a pivotal moment, igniting a passion for aiding others that transcended professional accomplishment. It was this realization and commitment to service that inspired the inception of Climb for Clarity Ltd in May 2023, a platform through which I channel my passion and expertise to guide individuals and businesses towards clarity, courage, and commitment in realizing their objectives.As an advocate for both personal and professional development, my approach is holistic, encompassing traditional indoor coaching and invigorating outdoor walking sessions.
