• Managed $100M+ annual global IT infrastructure support contract with outsourced service provider.
• Outsourced services included end user computing devices, application hosting at global data centers, service/help desk, messaging and network management.
• Managed start-up issues, contractual disputes and price variations of the outsourcing contract. Drove volume discounts via on-boarding Wyeth after Pfizer acquisition.
• Led global Pfizer IT External Benchmarking Study with the Hackett Group to identify areas of improvement in performance of operations and value of services delivered.

• Led Global Financial Services Program for Americas Region.
• Deployed Oracle ERP in Canada, driving business transformation to standardize and relocate back office financial operations to Americas regional center in Memphis USA.
• Led startup of Mexico and Brazil teams for Oracle ERP deployment and relocation of back office operations.
• Selected subsequently to lead a 40-colleague team with $10M OPEX to deliver projects and process improvements across finance areas: $25M+ portfolio spanning global budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analytics and.

• Spearheaded newly formed Operational Systems Team with global responsibility for MRP and maintenance management systems.
• Annual OPEX of $15M+ with investment program of $80M+.
• Developed “clean sheet of paper” concept to standardize business processes for maintenance engineering operations, including workload planning, supply inventory replenishment and related cost accounting.
• Developed and deployed a multi-year, $60M global computerized maintenance management program from concept in September 2003 to deployment, delivering 15 of the target 40 sites on schedule by 1Q 06.
• Developed first system following “Core Solutions” concepts, a key IT strategy to standardize business processes/interfaces and reduce total cost of ownership.

• Member of team accountable for MRP project deployments and improvements across 50+ manufacturing sites.
• Successfully led manufacturing ERP programs in Singapore, Ireland, Australia, South Africa, Indonesia, India, Pakistan and US.
• Global Supply Lead for Oracle ERP deployment in the UK as part of a European Financial Shared Services program.
• Developed systems integration program for Pharmacia manufacturing plants in Europe; served as global supply lead to develop new IT strategy for Pfizer.

• Led the Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) Team across manufacturing, quality and automation IT systems at the manufacturing site in Kent (UK).
• Responsible for startup of new IT function including budget and team build.
• Deployed new ERP solution and integrated High Bay Warehouse.
• Created 3-year rolling IT manufacturing site strategy, and delivered 21CFR11 Compliance Program in Europe region.
• Spearheaded technical team to develop and support DCS/SCADA systems within the drug substance and product facilities for small to large-scale automation projects.

UK

• Responsible for shift manufacturing operations in Biotechnology and Bulk Antibiotic Fermentation production centers.
• Directed 25 process and maintenance technicians operating in a highly unionized work environment.
• Identified operational issues, established systems and new working practices to resolve them, and rolled out performance management system to ensure focus on achieving the team business plan.
• Led projects for plant equipment modifications and one-off manufacturing campaigns essential for a development product.

UK

• Held project engineering positions starting as a graduate Junior Engineer through to Lead Engineer/Project Manager.
• Led projects between $2.0 - $5.0 million across range of manufacturing technologies including biotechnology, fermentation, distillation, utilities generation, pure water generation/distribution and effluent treatment.
• Seconded as project lead on two existing projects to resolve budget and schedule overruns.
