I am currently employed as a Graduate Engineer at Robert Bird Group, focusing on design engineering since January 2024. My foundational education was acquired at the University of Technology Sydney, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice in Civil Engineering. Before my current role, I was engaged as a Remedial Engineer at Landlay Consulting Group. In this capacity, I focused on the assessment and enhancement of existing structures through targeted remedial measures, aiming to extend their lifespan and ensure their functionality. Prior to that position, I gained significant experience at Interspan, where I specialised in the site inspection of post-tensioned (PT) slabs. My responsibilities included the thorough examination of PT systems from installation to completion, ensuring they met all specifications and safety standards, which is crucial in the construction of modern commercial and residential buildings. In parallel with my engineering responsibilities, I also took on the role of Teaching Assistant at the University of Technology Sydney, where I was tasked with leading educational sessions in Road and Transport Engineering and Computer Modelling Design. This role was instrumental in refining my ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner, enhancing my pedagogical skills, and deepening my technical understanding of essential engineering disciplines.Additionally, my experience is complemented by customer service responsibilities at Christopher’s Cake Shop and a mentorship role at UTS, where I supported incoming first-year students and participated actively in various university support programs. These engagements have significantly bolstered my interpersonal skills and communication abilities, allowing me to effectively interface with individuals from diverse backgrounds and contributing to my holistic professional development.Motivated by a profound interest in structural engineering and committed to my professional advancement, I actively pursue opportunities that allow me to apply my extensive skills in environments that challenge the conventional boundaries of engineering projects and innovation.
