Currently an Inspection Engineer for Phillips 66, formerly ConocoPhillips downstream refining, at their UK Humber refinery.I started my career as an apprentice trained mechanical maintenance technician which enabled a good practical knowledge of hands-on mechanical engineering. I progressed through various inspection based roles within both onshore and offshore oil and gas industries, predominantly in the UK and European sectors. Through working as NDT Technician, Rope Access Supervisor and Lead NDT Technician I have gained a strong hands-on NDT background with thorough knowledge and experience in the application of all conventional and specialist NDT methods. I have good knowledge and experience of most corrosion damage mechanisms typically found in upstream and downstream process equipment. I have experience in the integrity management of process pressure systems and also offshore structures. Often dealing with in-field repair strategy, design and inspection, including welding. Broad experience of shutdown planning, optimisation and inspection execution.I am currently responsible for the integrity management and inspection execution on several refinery process units including; Reformer, Sulphur Recovery, Sour Water Stripper, AEU, HDA and LPG treatment units.I currently hold CSWIP Plant Inspector, API 570 & 510 and IRATA rope access professional qualifications. MSOE MIPlantE member and EEMUA INT committee member.
