Since my decision to leave Donkey Republic 1 September 2020 I have been focussing on the further development of the operational capacity for Cafe Svejk. Taking full advantage of the forced lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, of this historic local watering hole on Smallegade, Frederiksberg. We have taken on and completed an extensive building renovations project which not only expands customer capacity but has also enabled Cafe Svejk to extend it´s product offering with the addition of a full working kitchen.

As a Business Developer with the responsibility for the Scandinavian and UKmarket my role was to help expand Donkey Republic's bikeshare fleet in these regions.By promoting an affordable, sustainable shared mobility model for inner cities. Core tasks involved collaboration and development of existing partnerships as well as the identification and initiation of new markets, both public and private, within the UK and Scandinavia.

After 3 exciting years at Homemate, I have decided that my future lies elsewhere. A tough decision as Homemate, despite the challenges of a start up on steroids, has been great fun. I have had the opportunity to work together with some fantastic colleagues, who i wish all the best for the future.

As Director of Business Development referring directly to the CEO I am responsible for securing the Homemate brand & strengthening Homemate´s position in the market. Since taking up this position Homemate has been focussing on our online presence and the development of our "Ugekasse" a subscription based meal box. Developed to be the simplest quality meal kit solution on the market, Homemate´s Ugekasse is "Ready in 15 minutes" and currently available in the greater Copenhagen area.

Responsible for the day to day running of Homemate`s retail outlets retail and the continuos development of the Homemate brand. Besides being responsible for 11 retail outlets & the maintenance and training of a retail staff base of around 60 employees. I was also responsible for brand development through product development and retail presence. this included introducing the Homemate brand into the Department store chain Magasin Du Nord & the further development of our products, including Homemate´s Vegan range and the" Ugekasse" prototype.

On my appointment as Director of Operations in February 2016, Homemate was a start up company which consisted of two retail outlets, which leased it´s production space from a third party. Reporting directly to the CEO I was responsible for all existing operations and together with the CEO, for the further development of the Homemate brand. Tasked with taking Homemate from two retail outlets to nine within just 18 months, to put Homemate on the map. We achieved this through constant attention to the markets requirements in our product development and a sharp focus on brand awareness. My key responsibilities included;Securing production facilities for the first fase and relocation of production for the second fase. Personnel hiring, training & development in production & retail departments. Development of the Homemate presence through securing new locations, build out & opening of new retail outlets. Securing logistics, supplier & partner agreements. Allehånde Køkken was a social enterprise, which promoted a sustainable business model. The concept consisted of the inclusion of people with a hearing handicap in the daily running of the company, whilst competing equally in the market and without public funding. Allehånde at this time consisted of three separate departments within the catering industry, As Director of operations, I was responsible, for the day to day running of operational activities. , Primary roles included, operational & logistical management. Personnel management & training. Product security & concept development. Multi unit management. Promoting Social Awareness.

Nye vej for unge Døve og døveblind"- "New opportunities for the young deaf & deaf blind"Having originally created the initial concept of a sustainable, social business idea, to include young deaf & deafblind people, by giving them education & employment opportunities within the service Industry. I was tasked as project manager, to realise the idea. With sole responsibility for all aspects of the start up, from the initial fund raising, to the day to day running of the company. Key roles included financial management, product & concept development. Personnel management & coaching of multicultural teams, through both Danish & Danish sign language. Promoting the social business model in both, the public & the private sectors.
