A managerial and technical role based at one of the UK’s largest packaging importers, supplying major retailers globally.Working as a member of a highly committed and motivated team of senior managers, responsibilities comprise of 24/7 support /development to all company infrastructure and accounting systems. Areas specifically targeted consist of core business operations, server administration, SAP administration & development and communication Systems.I continuously manage and administer multiple companies on an ERP system SAP business one, this includes setting up from start to finish and also making development changes as and when required. I use my knowledge of SQL and crystal to construct meaningful reports and alerts for all levels of business from warehouse to top level management.2009 I setup a complete IT system for our remote offices in China (Shenzhen) and Hong Kong. This included a weeks visit to install a remote server that would replicate our UK file system for easy access for the Far East staff. I utilized a multi-point layered stack (MPLS) line to ensure that data communications were fast and reliable.2011 I setup a similar system in the USA for our sister company Food Freshness Technologies however due to budgetary restrictions the system was setup using a standard IPSEC VPN over an independent ADSL line.2012 I turned the IT department into a revenue generating department by offering my technical expertise out to our strategic partners.Currently I support companies with SAP Business One customisation and development and I have also setup a complete IT system for a start-up company based in Weymouth. This consisted of purchasing / supplying all equipment needed including setup with Microsoft 365 for exchange services and a cloud based file storage solution.

As a new department to the business I setup a fully functional quality assurance laboratory tailored to the needs of the company, this included the purchase of specialised testing equipment and software, defining testing methods and best practice. The department adhered to the ISO 9001 standards and I carried out internal and external audits globally. The department became key to the business enabling us to guarantee quality of product and also support any supplier rejects with documented test reports. I was responsible for all product specifications and testing.
