During my placement, I was fortunate to be able to undertake a variety of tasks associated with the running of a large, successful and highly reputable automotive company. These duties included: Supporting the work undertaken by the field team managers. Assisting the Retail Sales team in achieving KPI’s by providing various reports some of which were specialist one-off reports based on my analysis. Managing stock reports on a national level ensuring dealer networks could function on a day-to-day basis. Accessing and Analysing data from various tools such as Trackback, PSS&SSS, CiS and various marketing data. Producing and monitoring reports for the perusal of the senior management group (Director level). Dealing with bespoke requests such as those involving sourcing information, producing presentations and creating reports for the direct use of the directors. Improving daily functions and best practice for the team and wider organisation to improve efficiency.  Undertook competitor analysis. Providing cover for peers in different departmental roles which entailed Marketing and Finance based functions and tasks. Liaising with various departments and partner companies to obtain data and create reports for their perusal.Given an extension to my placement period and offered a role post university.Trusted to work from home and given sole responsibility for running reports at weekends.
