Ensuring the night runs smoothly providing riders for the bands, occasionally assisting the sound tech with his duties where needed such as set up and pack down. Making sure bands are on stage at the right time and adjusting the night accordingly when problems arise - such as bands dropping out, sound check running late etc.

Within this position I have had to sift through submissions for the blog, offer critical analysis and feedback in written form to musicians for singles and albums sent to me. I have also written reviews for live shows. I have once again always had to remain unbiased in my approach when writing for bands I maybe already had an opinion on.

Offering critical analysis and feedback upon songs sent to me for the weekly RGM recommends articles. Being able to listen in a critical yet partial manor was a skill essential to this. Unbiased opinions were often needed to when dealing with people I had a prior opinion upon.
