The Methods’ Insight Analytics team has grown out of the East Midlands Quality Observatory, an NHS team that, from 2009 – 2013, worked as part of NHS East Midlands and latterly NHS Midlands and East SHA to use data and information sourced locally and nationally to inform front line clinicians and the public about variation in the quality and outcomes of care so that improvements can be made.
