Infrastructure support spread over 4 states which included Azure, private cloud, on-premise and data center. My role not only included BAU but consisted of managing/implementing projects including IAAS migration, Office365 migration, Skype for Business, Windows 8.1/10 upgrade, Office relocation.

• Project management and implementation of new site in Malaysia. This included Azure and Office 365 Infrastructure with Hyper-V on premise server. • Investigated current site environment and planned for future environment (migration to cloud and offsite) to reduce on-premise costs and infrastructure maintenance. This included reducing on-premise infrastructure by over 80% within 3 months• Initiate and liaised with 3rd parties to implement and maintain a reliable and redundant environment. Removed single point of failure for support. This included Cisco switches, routers and firewalls • Implement policies, procedures, checklist, versioning of documentation• Implemented process maps and procedures for current projects

Infrastructure management/administration which committed to a 99.9% uptime. Spread over 3 locations including a Disaster Recovery site • Investigation, design and implementation of a Disaster Recovery virtual environment (VMWare) at a data center which also included regular maintenance and upgrades• Disaster Recovery design and implementation, frequent testing, reviewing which includes an offsite Data Co-location site. Documentation and testing regularly reviewed and updated.• Implementation of Exchange Server upgrade which included a failover frontend servers, CCR environment and SCR server to co- location site. • Investigation, design and implementation of centralized backup system. This included regular maintenance, testing and upgrades• Investigation, design and implementation of secondary client VPN access. This included a Fortinet firewall with clients using certificates• Implementation of policies and procedures including group policies, email and anti-spam review, equipment monitoring and management• Investigation, design and implementation of monitoring tools (formally Argent and now PowerAdmin) which also included regular maintenance and upgrades• New hardware/software testing, installation and upgrades (including Windows 2003/2008/2012, VMWARE ESX/ESXi 3.5-5.5, Sharepoint 2007(new installation and upgrade), Office, WSUS, antivirus, anti-spam, backup software – Commvault, WebMarshal Proxy Server, SMTP gateway/anti-spam Server, compatible VPN software)• Designed and implemented report writing and preparing instructions. Includes software/hardware install procedures, management procedures/processes, project recommendations and implementation steps/guidelines to ITIL standards
