The Asset Support Engineering Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of the Asset Support Engineering team. This team's purpose is to provide engineering support for the upgrading and maintaining of all in-service RME machines worldwide. This support comes in many forms, including pre-major service delivery obsolescence and replacement checks, varied ad hoc requests, safety and functionality upgrades/improvements, regional quote support, and sustainment engineering related queries.

The role of the Senor mechanical engineer - Asset Support is to provide technical leadership and oversight to all mechanical engineering services provided by the Asset Support Engineering team. In this role, it was my responsibility to ensure that such services met our clients’ expectations, all-the-while maintaining RMEs strict expectations as to the quality and aesthetic of its products. This role required the employ of a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). As such, I was responsible for ensuring that all mechanical services provided by the team were executed in accordance with the statutory requirements of the state of Queensland.
