My role is to ensure the efficient management, availability, legislative compliance and re-use of NDA’s information and knowledge assets, whether they are under our direct control, or being created and managed by others in the Group. I provide governance, leadership and direction through a number of strategies and Group-wide policies and deliver a number of standardised services to the Group. The vision is to optimise value from NDA knowledge and information assets in a compliant and secure manner; investing only in that which needs to be retained to deliver the NDA’s mission. I will also be developing a Group-wide Digital Vision. Digital means different things to different people and the intention will be to ensure that the Group aligns its aspirations and resources. The Vision will focus on the benefits of “being digital” which, I believe, is about using data to make better, more informed and faster decisions, wherever possible by smaller teams, and by developing more iterative, rapid and simpler ways of doing stuff.

Accountable for the Information management Compliance Programme delivering statutory and regulatory compliance to the civil nuclear decommissioning industry.

Responsible for the management of all Information and Knowledge Management Systems, Policies and processes.
