My career spans over 30 years from when photography was done with film and darkroom processing to the days of digital photography and digital photography.I started work for Warrens in Leeds as an apprentice in a photographic darkroom in the early 1980's. Warrens were at the top of the photographic industry then, the skills and experience I gained here were invaluable. Warrens were the first to venture into the world of Digital Imaging and again were at the top of the game. I was introduced to computers via a Mac Classic with the floppy disk drive and Freehand 1 - 3.I then went to work in the Photography and digital imaging department at Farnell Components in Leeds, it was here I learnt about high end computer systems and database driven publication.As a photographer, I worked in the studio at Farnells, did product shots and ran the digital imaging and digital retouching department.I was one of the first photographers at the time to get into panoramic photography. I specialised in panoramic photography for some time and won many major contracts.My photographic assignments to date have included work for Manchester City Football Club, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, De Vere Hotels and Pizza Hut.My former years have been spent in the world of signage, working for the WAE Group front line sales in Leeds, Butterfield Signs, Project Manager, FastSigns as a Sales Manager and now HD Signs as a Sales Manager. I again in the signage world have been lucky enough to work with major brands, such as Curry, WHSmiths, Virgin Money and now professional football league clubs as part of the HD Signs team.
