Simon specializes in start ups as principal founder (most notably Corporate Interiors which grew to $10m of revenues in 7 years with 50 staff) and with existing companies to provide change management and company development. He operates through his personal management company based in Kapiti and is a Chartered member of the Institute of DirectorsAs M.D. of NZX listed Cube Capital several companies in NZ & AU (furniture manufacturing and sales, tourism publishing, financial services) were acquired, amalgamated and sold whilst managing the development of Damba Furniture in NZ & AU ($12m of revenues) before selling Damba to an investment group in 2004. Simon was also a Director of NZX listed start up, Beauty DirectIn 2006 Smartpay was back door listed via Cube CapitalIn 2007 HCS Group was back door listed on the ASX and raised $8.4mIn 2008 a 33% shareholding was acquired in ECOsystems where change management and strategic input saw significant growth. The company was sold to PGL in 2015In 2010 parking technology company Meter Eye was introduced to and reverse listed on the ASXIn 2011 Simon became M.D. of NZX listed investment company Veritas which listed The Mad Butcher and raised $25mWith Technology Capital, Simon advised an ASX listed shell which became the first listed Dairy Farm Company in 2014In 2015 Collaborate reverse listed on the ASX following funding provided by SimonAs Executive Chairman of Hunter Safety Lab (now named SEEN) in 2018 he assisted the company in the commercialization of it's pedestrian safety sensor productsSimon manages his Family Trust with investments in NZ & AU share markets whilst developing and managing several properties.
