My passion for the news and telling people's stories has taken me around the world for an exciting career in international media. I am a Senior Broadcast Journalist and International News Producer with over 16 years of experience. I’ve worked at the top of my game for one of the world’s most influential news organisations, Al Jazeera, producing content and breaking news that reaches 270 million households in over 140 countries every day. I most recently have thrived in the world of TV series production, as a Senior Producer on an episodic series for American production house Film 45. I developed hour-long episodes for an upcoming show tackling some of the world's biggest issues - which is bound for a streaming service soon. I consider myself a media all-rounder - just as comfortable in front of the camera as I am creating bulletins, putting them to air, calling the shots in the newsroom, creating episodes of television from the ground up, leading teams of creatives, and having the vision to create news coverage and programming which wins awards.My producing work even saw Al Jazeera's 'Newsgrid' special on the Qatar blockade receive an Emmy nomination in the News and Current Affairs category. My career has taken me across Australia, to London, onto Qatar in the Middle East and back to Australia. I'm excited to bring all of this experience to the Australian media landscape.
