• Leading Supplier Development activities in support of Leonardo facilities including SCS/SC21 assessments, Rate Readiness Reviews, Supplier Capability and Capacity assessments • Ownership of improving competitiveness, sustainability, digitalisation and innovation within the UK supply chains, through use of company and industry recognised toolsets.• Represent Leonardo UK on relevant trade association steering boards; supporting progressive, social value image of the company and its responsible management of its supply chain. • Input and support of procurement sourcing decisions and commodity strategies.• Management of Critical Global suppliers for key product deliveries into LH to meet Production and Customer Support requirements• Technical lead on non-conformance resolution for critical suppliers and provision of 8D Route Cause Analysis and Corrective actions• Resolution of supplier technical queries (SQNs) providing solutions to proceed with manufacture (production engineering stamp holder)• Co-ordination of Product Quality Alerts (Product Escapes)• Technical Lead on supplier tenders and strategic sourcing including evaluation of bids and NRCs • Lead capability reviews to support supplier selection for production and in-service contracts• Lead and support External and Internal stakeholders, Suppliers, Procurement, and Materials Laboratory for technical, quality and commercial issues.

• Achieve a timely supply of components and raw materials to the EMC production line ensuring minimum inventory and avoiding disruption to the production plan• Promote the direct provisioning of materials via call-off agreements and provide support and expertise to maximise future out-sourcing opportunities• Implement MRP governance to ensure the control of asset provisioning in line with ITAR and other Export controlled materials • Integrate MRP processes and policies to achieve AW Working Capital Reduction and Inventory Control strategies• Implement and control Direct Line Feed and Safety Stock provisioning to maximise throughput • Co-ordinate warehouse logistics functions to enable accurate inventory holding, material handling and transportation• Develop Inter Company Trading participation to ensure efficient flow of materials whilst supporting AW global working capital reduction• Responsible for providing accurate reporting systems and capacity modelling to allow forward planning of labour and material to meet an identified firm and speculative workload• Manage EMC’s Master Production Schedule and liaise with internal customers to reconcile and asset manage spares and FAL requirements through demand stability/smoothing• Provide support and expertise to enable effective ‘make or buy’ strategies • Evaluate MRP exception messages and implement necessary improvement plans and actions with Material Supply Management and Procurement to mitigate material supply risks • Integrate lean systems to enable continuous flow of components and raw materials to support the production plan• Develop and implement KPI’s to identify production DSA, Material Supply Status and MRP system base data health and parameters • Recruit, coach and develop staff to increase their capability and flexibility in line with business needs and succession plans• Ensure key processes are documented and controlled in line with MRP and Procurement governance CPR/DPR guidelines

• Definition, Planning and Authorisation of all material requirements provisioning to support aircraft Production and Development programmes• Management of Inventory levels and potential supply problems• Preparation and maintenance of the Master Production Schedule and ERP system to reflect material requirements and supplier packages• Accountability for requesting and validating cost and delivery proposals from external suppliers and internal functional areas• Preparation and submission of budgets and other instructions to launch work and purchase orders in accordance with the master production schedule whilst analysing spend and achievement against the project plan.• Liaison with Purchasing, suppliers and Supplier Management Teams to ensure material deliveries are achieved to design configuration and schedule.• Planning and initiation of containment action for all materiel non-conformances• Co-ordinate the activities of Warehouse and Production Administrators to ensure the appropriate priority is given to movement of parts and kit presentation to ‘point of use’

• • Management of suppliers for the Attack Helicopter Requalification Programme including, Westland Transmissions, Pilkington Aerospace Ltd, Simula Safety Systems Inc and Arden Engineering• Management of Requalification activities including, Component provisioning for Requalification tests, Requalification Risk Assessment & Supporting and overseeing Requalification testing• Accountability for ensuring that Requalification testing was conducted in accordance with Boeing specifications • Accountability for ensuring that Requalification testing was completed in a timely manner to enable achievement of MOD payment milestones• Compilation and Maintenance of the Requalification Programme risks register to ensure that all major programme risks were identified and mitigated
