I am an experienced chartered marine engineer and environmentalist. With a long career in operations, newbuild and surveying I have a passion for both shipping and our oceans. My particular enthusiasm, resides in the cruise industry although all technical aspects of the shipping industry are of interest to me I am concerned that the cruise and shipping industry in general is about to face a watershed as customers become more cognisant of the impact their vacations and consumer habits are having on the environment.
