As product development manager at Ruark Audio, I am involved in every stage of a new product’s development. This gives me a great understanding of exactly how and what is required to take a product from conception all the way to market.In this role, I frequently visit our factories and suppliers in the far east and work with a number of different partners to develop and debug both the hardware and software. I also act as a general project manager for each product, creating and maintaining Gantt charts to try and ensure that phase of the project remains on track and that the end product is delivered on time.Drawing from skills acquired as part on my degree in Computer Science, I have also created and maintained databases and systems to manage product returns, QA on the production line and inventory control at our warehouse.
