Family Support Practitioner
Current• Engaging and maintaining a positive relationship with a caseload of 13 families with children and young people aged 0-19 years.• Liaise with Schools to improve attendance of the children and create a Plan to support the family to reach this goal• Work alongside Social Workers with the main aim to keep supporting families in crisis, preventing any possible risks, and preserving the safety of a child• Providing support to the parents using different kind of Parenting Programs (The Parenting Puzzle, Strengthening Families and Communities, Triple P and Reducing Parents Conflict)• Arranging TAF Meetings on a monthly basis with the aim of promoting a good communication, sharing information between all the all the professionals around the family and keep them in contact • Using evidence-based Brain Metaphors to work with families that experienced trauma, helping them thrive• Complete Assessment and Risk Assessment always keeping the child as the core part of the whole process• Providing creative support to families in need during lock-down, using video-phone call and virtual activity with children and young people
