I come from a multi-cultural background, I am tri-lingual in English, Italian and Portuguese as well as fluent in French. I thrive in international settings, have lived in three countries so far and have travelled widely across the world. I was born and brought up in Rome, Italy, before studying and working in the UK for some years. I went to a school with over 100 nationalities and I have worked with people from many different cultures - my passion for working with people started with enjoying the diversity and international connections I have been lucky enough to have had all my life.In 1998 I moved to Lisbon and worked at the world Expo ’98 as Manager of the British Pavilion. I have worked in the corporate publishing world for over 20 years, first creating and managing a joint venture in Lisbon and later becoming Publishing Director. In 2013 I founded a new publishing imprint which I run until September 2016.I am a Professional Certified Coach coach working with business executives and in Leadership Coaching programmes internationally. I work systemically and holistically with the whole person, with the inner and external worlds, focusing on rational, behavioural, emotional and embodied levels and working with leaders in ways that respond to today's emergent issues and in their search for meaning and purpose.I am a trainer and mentor at an ICF accredited coaching school in Lisbon. I am also a trainer and mentor on international ICF programmes for HRDs in Coaching Skills, across the US, Asia and Europe. I am an accredited Coaching Supervisor with CSA in London, working with coaches in a collaborative learning space, promoting deep and interactive reflection to support our continuous development.I was a member of the ICF Portugal Chapter’s Social Causes Committee until end September 2021, and of its the Ethics Committee until the end of 2019. I was on the steering committee of CoachActivism for 5 year and now remain a coach, in this international programme providing pro-bono coaching to volunteers working with the refugee crisis.I have considerable experience working as a volunteer in high-stress situations. I worked for 5 years as a volunteer on a suicide-prevention phone line and some years later was a member of its board of directors. Since 2009 I have been visiting non-Portuguese speaking prisoners in Lisbon area prisons. I am at the moment deepening my own self-development and awareness through an MA in Psychosynthesis Leadership & Organisational Coaching, thus deepening my own work with my clients.
