The biggest change in my working career happened in April 2023, when I completely abandoned my 27-years professional role in the Economic Public Services. I decided to inspire people for natural and sustainable gardening by opening my own company VRTna vila Simona Gobec s.p.After graduating in Biology and Chemistry at Faculty for education in University of Maribor, I worked as a teacher at different secondary schools, for several years. During my Master study of Technical Environmental Protection at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in University of Maribor, I started to work at Institute of Ecological Engineering Maribor. The assessments of the impacts of planned interventions on the environment, expert assessments, several case studies in the field of waste water treatment, waste disposal and drinking water supply as references.I gained strong skills in project management for infrastructure investments and maintenance, in management consulting in the local self-government in the Municipality of Slovenske Konjice and in Public Utility Company Slovenske Konjice. Last full engagement was at NLZOH, but luckilly very short.
